Default Z Turbo

I was thinking about getting a Z in a couple months but if I get one I want to put a turbo on it. Does anyone know anything about which are a good bet for the engine?
Thanks
Rob

Any would be good. I think PE, Greddy, and HKS (when they come out with one), will be the safest.

Be ready to spend A LOT OF MONEY. I was thinking of goint the turbo route also....figured it would cost me right about $10Gs...that's including the kit installations, intercooler, cams pistons, rods .... and the minor stuff MSD, turbo timer, boost controller, ....

your looking at 10k without including the install charges and dyno tuning. You should add another 1000-1500 for the labor involved with setting it up. IMO the most reliable setup is going to be a custom kit built by a professional shop tuned to your needs, rather than a 1 size fits all approach. If i do go turbo most likely i will do a custom kit with 2 mid sized turbos.

Why would a kit that is made specifically for 1 single engine by a company that has more research and development invested in their product than a local shop be less reliable?

It seems that you have specific tastes, and so I would believe that a local shop would be able to build a kit to your needs better than any of the products mentioned above because you could give them feedback and a specific goal.
