http://www.intensepower.com/nilowtethkit.html

It opens the thermostat @ 154 degrees rather than @ 170 degrees OEM. Allowing your motor to run a little bit cooler.

nice man, so here's another q, my mechanic from Import Auto just said he talked to Turbonetics, the guy said he has a g35 w the same issue, recommended aem ems...a stand alone vs the utec....which one is better?!? I mean of course the aem is huge bc it contols the car alone, but is there really more you can do over just a utec?

STAY AWAY FROM THE AEM!!! Standalone is the best way to go! Obviously it's gonna cost you a bunch more then a UTEC, but the UTEC will handle what you need it to do. If you want to spend the bucks on a standalone... I would go with HKS F-Con V-Pro, ProEFI Pro48, or Haltech. There really isn't a "true" standalone for the Z. All these computers still use the OEM computer to control the dashboards, A/C controls, etc...

Since your AZ, I would look @ the ProEFI if you want to go standalone. They are based in AZ, and you would have great support should you ever need help with the computer.

Does that include the MAP selector switch? That's a pretty good deal if it does.

You are really going to like the utec. I love mine, my car starts and runs like stock and drives without any hiccups.

You only raise your boost or add more timing if you want more power because Meth allows you too.

Yes tthe advantages of having meth are as you say. But most of the time people will take advantage ofhaving it and turn up the boost if they can. You can understand it's just 1 or 2 lbs and so on in the heat of the moment.

Relax dude, trust me if I were calling you out I would have used your name. Yes I can read and comprehend as well. Don't take everything to heart that's usually the sign of a guilty concision.

how often do you need to refill the methanol/water mix? The spray only goes into effect up full throttle right? Just wanna make sure if I did add meth injection, I'm not gonna b drivin around wasting it all day.

What's the big benefit here. Opening a little sooner? Once temp reaches 170 which would probably be 3-4 minutes after 154, it remains open no? Temp's not going below 170 during driving?
