There are two different non revup belt layouts. The older one has a 93.5 inch belt, and the newer one has a 79.5 inch belt. I think you need to go down to a 93 or 79 depending on your application. I have the 79.5 layout and I'm swaping to the 2.87 pulley this weekend. I'm keeping the 79.5 belt cause I have the GTM pulley mod.

Look in the Vortech FAQ thread on page 1.

Well I just wanted to confirm that the 79.5 inch belt along with the 2.87 pulley and GTM pulley mod is a perfect fit. With out the GTM pulley I would probably go for a belt that is one inch smaller.

Did you find out which belt layout you have on your vortech?

For your setup most people go with a 93 or 92 7/8 inch belt. If you buy the GTM pulley mod it comes with a 93.5 inch bando belt. By adding the GTM pulley with the 2.87 you won't need to go with a smaller belt. If I were in your shoes I would consider doing the GTM pulley mod now and be done with it. I can tell you this the cars throttle response is much more crisp with this setup.

At 6600 RPMs (redline for non revup) you will over spin according to vortech, but at 6400 rpms you are fine. Power starts to drop off after 6400 rpms anyways. At least for me it does.
