Is 3" the largest pipe we can fit? So twin turbos use a dual 3" exhaust. Why wouldnt a single turbo pumping as much hp (500+) use a single 4.25" exhaust (same area)

Why? The 3" exhaust will flow 600+whp no problem.

How bout the stock exhaust with an open dump? I think that would be really cool and what a great sleeper effect! They would think they are gonna walk ya at the stop light and then bam!

thats the idea I want to be able to be quiet like stock and then come outta nowhere. Plus, idiots around here look for cars that are stock to "pick on"..and like I said in previous posts..theres not alot of respect for the 350z in my area since 99% of them are either riced(with decals/awful body kits/muffler backs) or stock..I hope to hurt alot of feelings with this car haha.

That sounds like a great idea. You also have an LS6 RX7, I'm sure you have hurt plenty of feelings already, stop being mean!

IMO single exhausts just do not look right on Z's.. Totally throws off the balanced look in the rear..

i dissagre but to each their own...

basically OP needs a 3" exhaust which can be custom or jic, or a true duel with a custom reverse y....or the cutout if he wants a sleeper look

IDK, it's easier to screw up, then to get right...
Maybe with a rear skirt, like the ings ls, but the center section cut out, the single can cocked to a side...
But that will draw a lot of weird glances from Supra drivers.

And I don't think it would look good in any color...

i don't know the quality of cutouts for our cars, but for srt-4's...they have leaking issues with the cutout not closing fully after some time.

the only problem i have with cutouts is that most ive seen are cast iron? i dont understand this? you cant weld cast iron to anything but cast iron! so unless you want a cast iron exhaust....
