Default Breaking in motor on boost?

What do you guys think? Should I put the motor in the car and run it 100% stock like it is now(stock injectors, tune, everything) to break it in or should I put EVERYTHING in the car and break it in on boost..I plan on using the "motoman" method however I cant decide which way I wanna do it.

Everyone share your educated thoughts.

put everything in at once. do your driveability stuff first on the dyno, then pretty much give it hell. if it is gunna let loose, hardly any amount of break in or different break in procedure is gunna help ya.

no sense in pulling the motor twice. break in 500 miles no boost. another 500 very low to high boost as you reach 1000 miles

The important part is the tune at initial start. Those first few moments are critical, so having a tune that won't wash down the cylinders is key. The only reason I would use the stock ecu/injectors break-in is if you don't have a decent tune for the larger setup.

Rent a load based dyno for the day, and do a load based dynobreak in. You can even simulate the MotoMan ritual, if you like...perfectly on the dyno.

And like Hal mentioned, just make sure you have good control of the engine at startup and during the break in.

Well I plan on doing it off the dyno and on the street. The initial tune would be the one that comes with the PRO EFI. I wanna break it in on the street before I bring it to get dyno tuned. I wonder how close the initial map is gonna be on the PROEFI...maybe break it in on 4-5psi...either that or like I said before..just not install the turbo kit yet, or anything just the new motor break that in and then go ahead and finish the rest of the build like fuel/turbo kit,ect...I dont mind the extra time if it means my engine is broken in properly. I also heard that putting a hew PSI to it will help the rings seat a little better/quicker..

EDIT: Talked to Pete at Intense and he said he could get the base map pretty damn close to where I need to be and that it would be good enough for initial start up and break in. (saves me so much time) so ill put a couple of hundred miles on the car before I bring it to TTR in NJ for its dyno tune and FULL break in.
