Default Water Meth with Vortech

hey guys now that everything is settled on running the 2.87 I was wondering what kind of meth kit would be good for my setup with the utec, I saw that AIS, AEM and snow and what stage is good. Everyone that I have talked to highly recommended it but were not specific on the stage or differences

Snow Performance Stage 2. It's a progressive controlled meth kit and runs on its own (doesn't need the utec). Don't expect much of a power gain just reduced heat soak.

F*ck snow performance get a real kit
Aquamist HFS-5
Run @ least a 1.0 jet or 2 .8's and you WILL make more power
(run a 66/33 meth/ water mixture)
This setup on all the subaru's i tune yields nearly 100 whp extra on pump gas (on a turbo that can support that)
And doesn't work off PRESSURE it mimics Injector pulse width so the meth ratio is always the same

You dont have a clue about what your saying. You will lose power if all you do is spray the meth in without retuning the car which would be by adding more timing and/or boost, then you will see the gains. And by the way, we run the snow performance kits on our 8 & 9 second vipers. They are very good system and easy to use.

check out the second dyno sheet it shows the gains with water/meth. It's all in the tunning.

no i have no clue what im talking about after tuning 2000+ Subaru's 500+ with meth. I have no clue

i never said spray with no tuning that is just stupid

he has a utec which he can tune for the meth with
a controller that mimics IPW is far better than a boost reference

^ Meth without a tune = 0 it just cools your intake temps. You have to advance timing for results. And it is up to the tuner to do that.

snow's kits have gone up in price

when you PM'ed me, I initially thought the progressive controller came with their stage 1 kit because I think it used to. Knowing it's just with stage 2 kit, I'd be more willing to get that

My aggressive tune gained around 22whp. I wouldn't have gone that extreme of a tune if I didn't have a w/m kit
