Default problem with my Supercharger Vortech anyone HELP!!

hi ALL!, i'm installing in my 2003 Z supercharger vortech, and i had these 2 problems comes out pleas anyone help me to figure it out!

1. when i connecto and want to "Write to ECU" it shows the bar prgressing from 0% but says " ERROR CONNECTION TO ECU" why is that? i'm using the db9 to usb port

2. is normal that the bypass or blowoff comes air in stand by? because it comes and i already ajust to the end to not let the air out , but still comes out the air right now has around 17 hg,

3. why i'm not making any boost? still 0



please can help me?

you want to set the threading to the 6-7 screw lines as recommended. A BPV is always open when not under med to upper throttle, just how they work. It will save you gas mileage when cruising, it will also prevent backpressure buildup against the turbine causing premature wear.

did you buy new or used? BPV could be broken

1) is your utec grounded properly?

2) it is normal for the bypass valve to be open when your at idle or anytime your not WOT.

3) vacuum leak? belt slip?

hi all thanks for all your advice, it worked, but i'm having 3.12 pulley and only have 6 psi boost, isn't it too low?

should be around 9 psi, is your belt tight?

well is tight but i'll recheck it tomorrow, and does any one knows why when i want to Write to ECU then comes out the Error Comunication with ECU? but i have line up as i can get all data from my Z

Try switching the COM port your connecting with.

not sure, but isn't there a switch setting when writing to the utec?

it is solve, it was the cable, i already bought another cable and works. thanks everyone...
