Question 04 G35 Turbonetics Kit/06 350Z Base? HELP!

I am what you would call a silent member, I read thread after thread but never post. I'v been a member for a while now and am in need of some advice from my fellow Z owners.

A good friend of mine owns a 04 G35 MT w/ turbonetics ST complete kit installed. He is planning on getting rid of the car and offered me 1st dib's on the complete kit. I drive a 06 350Z base MT.

Question 1: Will this kit fit my car?

Question 2: What else would i need to make the swap painless (or as close to it as possible)?

I have had a hard time locating answers to the above questions. I thank you for your help in this matter.

Edit - I missed the 06 part sorry:

For the 06 there is not kit for that but as posted some have modified the kit to work. Vinny Ten racing in Long Island NY has sucessfully done this in addition to having a tune for this.

You'd have to modify the piping or the steering rack to get this to work. I've never seen it done but I know some shops have done it. You'd probably also have to get the alternate intake piping that fits the z. I'm not really sure how much it would end up costing to do the work to get it to fit...

Thanks for the input guys.. Ill look in to the shop on L.I. I hope its just the steering rack and intake pipe. That does not seem to be a major fix...Any more info would be great. Has anyone on here pulled the swap off!?

just so you know.. since you are not the original owner of the kit... warranty's do not transfer.. and any pipes or fittings you may need has to go through the original owner

subscribing...im trying to do the opposite, put a 350z turbonetics kit on my g35. I talked to a guy from turbonetics today and said the only things that are different are the intercooler and a couple pieces of piping..i do know that there are differences in the 06's though, i have an 04.

well i installed the tn kit on the 06 myself along with rzmedicx from the forums. the kit will fit but there has to be a few modifications done to ur kit. first off ur steering lines are going to be in the way. specialy the top one. my way around this was to weld an elbow fitting onto the nissan fitting and running it with stainless steel lines for flexibility. there is also a braket on the transmission u will have to get rid of as well so the y pipe can go in without a problem. once u figure how much u have to ding the y pipe then is all cruise from there. let me look for my thread. oh and btw the flash will not work on the 06 rev ups. so ur better off investing on a utec or something in that nature. also try to get bigger than 440cc injectors due to them bein a little on the low end for the revups and utec. i was maxing out my injectors at around 6500rpms.there are more things but its all basic knowledge and common sence. unlike some people im not planning to build any time soon. and if i do i really dont want more than 500whp wich the turbonetics kit has been proven multiple times to do so. 8gs for a powerlab or 4gs for turbonetics.. not many people gonna go over that 600whp mark anyways. as turbonetics has been proven to 530+whp without meth injection or c16 fuel.
