Default Dipstick woes

03-04 Z, dipstick placement makes me wanna headbutt blunt objects.
I have to do the routine a million times to get a proper reading and the dipstick itself is wobbly. Anything you guys have done to ease the pain? My 05 Z was much better with straighter dipstick and better location, and my friend's 07 is perfect (right in front, and straight down with completely straight dipstick.
It's not really that big of a deal, butt would like to know if there are any options out there.

I have nearly lost my religion trying to put the dipstick in, especially when first got my Z.

I can do it pretty easily now. I have a 2003 Z

Take off that stupid collar guide around the dipstick hole. It only seems to help in getting it caught up and get stuck. Much easier to move it in/out once removed.

no major issues with mine, you might want to check the guide and adjust it, it is only held in by one bolt and it is not straight it may allow the dipstick to get caught trying to go in
