I thought it was interesting that Scott was originally hung out to dry for using OEM headbolts and gaskets in the BC racing engine... but, later, after he was banned of course... others swooped in to take the credit for using the HR bolts, gaskets, and Jim Wolf mods to make an ultra-trick setup. The people that forced his ban took credit for what turned out to be his innovation.
Quicksilver...It is very funny that you are trying to come on here and talk about the problems that their car has had at the track, And I have never seen you at the track let alone spinning records there.
I have been doing these Time Attacks and track events for 3 years now, And I have worked for several teams, And their Z is the car with the LEAST amount of big problems compared to 80% of the cars there.
They have had 2 big problems and a bunch of BS problems just like everyone who tracks their cars.
Nobody that races comes home and says oh everything was perfect at the track and nothing went wrong. There is always something that goes wrong or doesn't work the way they should.
Everybody has problems, All the time.
Just to name a few that have WAY bigger problems than the Z and nobody talks **** about and shouldn't because that is what happens when you have a track/race car....
MFQ Motorsports/EVO:I have been working with this team all year. Before Cal Speedway we blew the motor, Then at the track we had stupid freeze plug issues that wouldn't let us run and then after a day and a half of bs we got it to work correctly and won.
Chris Rado/Scion TC:Has blown more motors than anyone I have ever seen at the track.
Crawford/STI:Have gone through motors with new STI and had major brake problems at the last event
GST/STI:Go through motors all of the time, last year at the Redline Time Attack final(Laguna Seca) blew 3 motors, and they have had problems at events after that.
DynoComp/STI:Badass STI, have had major motor problems and crazy brake problems
FactorX/NSX:have gone through tons of motors and that is probably one of the fastest cars out there.
And as some new comers, Shariff and Philthy have already had an unfortunate motor failure, and I am sure have had other little BS problems and they will continue to have things that break and come up and cause problems but that is racing.
You wouldn't know because you don't do this stuff, you are just reading it off of the internet, So don't tell people on this forums of things that you don't know, and talk **** about someone elses race car having problems.
Why don't you just stick to the stuff that you know, like being a DJ and leave the track stuff to other people who know what they are talking about.

Frick, just and FYI, Quicksilver's car is currently being made into a beast, and will be a DD and a quarter-mile car. He most likely over a 1,000whp when it's all said and done. If he wanted to Time Attack, he would have built is car for such pruposes.... anyway, what does him being out at the track have anything to do with him posting "facts" about RA and DD Motorsports??
I agree with you that EVERY car that hits the track will eventually have problems. We are taking these cars to levels they were never intended on seeing. It's how these companies handle those problems, and how they present there findings and flaws....

He was hung out to dry BECAUSE his built list stated it had A,B and C.....but it turned out to have D,E and F.
ABC cost way more than DEF...but the costomer paid the price of ABC.
Its like buying a VVS 1 diamond...then you find out its really a SI 2 diamond. A VVS1 cost WAY more....but all you got was a SI1. Now the dealer gets busted and tries to calm you down by telling you that he will repair it or clean it for free for the life of this diamond....

Everyone has these problems, not just RA, that was the point. Quicks post made it appear that only RA has these problems.

Nothing but mechanical problems and this is directly from MIkes website so you know it's somewhat been sugar coated. Problems happen, and your scott is no stranger to having them; and lawchic knows that...
Thats why i raised the issue of irony in his post
and fricku, yes, i know you have been at this evens for 3 years... since VRT with their big trailer and supplies from money stolen from customers......very nice

dont come here all nice saying "And as some new comers, they have already had an unfortunate motor failure, and I am sure have had other little BS problems ", we all remember your shlt-starting-rehash posts you did after the BCs G 1st event, which you then started spreading it to multiple forums too
