Default Haltech hooked up, car barely running...

Maybe I didnt hook it up right? Put the 850cc injectors in, hooked the ECU up and the car barely runs..its running so rich my eyes are tearing and the car will barely rev...any ideas? Alls I did was hook it up to the ECU. Any ideas?

Did you attach a vaccum line? Load a basemap of some kind? Make sure the injector driver is set to Low or High Impedence...based on the type of injectors you have. Tell us what else you have done..and what else you are seeing on the screen.

wow..who woulda thought hooking a vacuum line up to the ecu would make such a big difference. I still have to have hal recheck the tune..theres something in there I didnt see when he first sent me it. MIght of been something I did.

the haltech map he sent you was based on MAP, thats why it didnt run right it thought it was at atmospheric pressure the whole time.
