Default Wierd Idle.

Well it happened this weekend right after an oil change, driving the car home it tried to stall when coming to a stop, was not sure if this was a random thing so I took it for another spin on Sunday and the same thing happened.

I seem to catch it before it completely stalls but it's still not a good thing, I started it up tonight and the car shook a little as it was warming up which it has never done before, usually I just start it up and go.

I have an auto G35 with a fully built stage 3 tranny from GTM so I know this is not a flywheel issue plus I have their ECU flash, I called Sam and he asked for my AF numbers......at idle my AF is 10 to 10.9 which is real rich and at WOT it reads 11.2 ish.

I have been asked by GTM to get to the FCon and flick switch 5 and see if that makes a difference, I am guessing I need to flick it off and back on again, my question is could my rich AF be due to another issue??

I'm really curious about how you solved this issue. How did you fix the problem?

It turned out to be a bad FCon, I started to trace the problem back to what occured each time it had happened and noted that one was after I washed my car and another time after it had rained, both times water had got into the car on the passenger side carpet which means that water my have got into the FCon unit which sites inside the driver side panel. We removed the unit and replaced it with a new one and it has been good ever since, we also fixed the rubber trim where the water was getting through.

I had this problem. Water was gettting through to the Fcon, and it lost its settings. The Fcon was cleaned out and relocated, and the area where water was coming in was sealed.
