Arrow Haltech 350Z September Promotions

For the month of September, Injected Performance is proud to offer the following deals to increase awareness of Haltech's advanced features.

The Platinum EMS will monitor dual widebands and make the necessary adjustments to each bank respectively to achieve the targeted AFR.

Also, the Platinum as a plug and play unit reads in wheel speed and has calculated wheel slip channels. This allows the end user to setup boost control based on front wheel speed and/or rear wheel slip.

Please contact your local Haltech Platinum dealer to purchase, or contact us to locate them.

Speed based boost is pretty neat - dropping boost back in the lower gears and ramping it in for higher gears works well, especially in higher boost applications. We use it on our drag car combined with the built in data logger to dictate how much power we make at what points on the track.

The solenoid is threaded for 1/8 NPT. It comes with the barbs and filter for the unused port.

The Haltech is a steal at its retail price. I purchased one of the first units I think back in Aug 2007 and it has just been rock solid. Thanks for a great product and the super after sale support Hal.

Is your Haltech PnP compatible with most carputers? Is their a output interface for a display?

Yes, the software will run on XP and Vista. I believe rcdash is running it on a carputer currently, with automatic boot into a Haltech gauge display. It has USB connectivity, and a CAN module for interfacing with dashes such as the racepak or aim dash.

The Haltech interface is perfect for a carputer setup. You can use Girder to automate tasks if you want (like at resume from standby). I also can switch to different display set ups easily thanks to the customizable gauge gui built into ECU manager.

Here is a quick video I took of the startup sequence:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/57maacO_CR0&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/57maacO_CR0&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

While searching for my own video on youtube, I found this - pretty nifty overview of the Haltech, to include the platinum PNP unit:

Just dropping by to say that the Haltech EMS is absolutely amazing in every way and has dramatically increased the enjoyment I get out of my boosted Z. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

rcdash: That's freaking slick and I'm going to have to talk to you when I get around to finally updating all the software on my car pc (hopefully next week).

The Haltech is a blast to see in operation thanks to the way the GUI was designed. The Haltech folks don't sell a carputer. I would recommend checking out the forums at mp3car.com. There are turn-key double din units now available that really simplify the entire install. Mine is a combo of trunk, LCD screen, tons of wires back and forth, etc.

All I can say is the the Haltech Platinum PnP has been the single best purchase for my Turbo 350z.

And Hal @ IP has been an ABSOLUTE PLEASURE to deal with. A real professional with real skills when it comes to offering tech support on the Haltech PnP.

Na, I'm an NA guy forever... I'm hoping to make better NA horsepower though.

The Haltech made quite a big difference on my OEM NA motor. I'm hoping it will do the same for my fully built motor with better compression , cams, etc... I think the Haltech will be worth some real power over a piggyback EMS.
