How are you powering the sensor? The sensor heater needs to be powered ONLY when the car is running. You can shock O2 sensors with cold water vapor if they are hot while car is off and you start it up (e.g. you have it tied to accessory power, turn car off, listen to radio etc, then restart - O2 will be hot and die when cold water vapor in manifold hits it). You can also damage O2 sensors by having them off while engine is running for extended periods.

Haha! That's where I ran mine from also. Except I tapped the circuit by the fuse box and ran an inline fuse instead.:-)
