My CAMP2 install
Plus a few other things I had laying around...

And, I went ahead and put THIS in while I had everything off as well.
But, I ran out of connectors. So, I'll have to come back to finish it.

Took a while to get the colors right. But, everything matches nicely now and the
orange is the same throughout the dash. Looks great and VERY bright at night...

very nice. I wonder if the CAMP2 will run through a double din DVD/CD players input setting?

Best price that I have found for the Camp 2 is here
http://jdmultimate.com/Store/Product...Make=UNIVERSAL
If you have the Fcon you will need the F con harness which is a phone cable that I guess is wired differently which cost $12.
After reading alot on this, it seems really easy to install. Connect to your OBD, Wire for 12v and plug in the AV wires for your screen. Seems pretty damn easy.
It is possible to hook it up to a double din but that would mean you have to listen to an ipod or somthing because you cant have the radio playing with it on.
HKS website has all the info on it. You can get a Camp2 running for about $500 if you do the install yourself.

And, you can pick from several different items - up to 24 depending on the sensors. A LOT more if you run F-CON too.
Nope. I got mine A LOT cheaper from IntensePower. I buy EVERYTHING from them. THEY ROCK!!!

(Now, please tune my car for free!!!)

so I can see my buddy on the track - filming from inside. Can't view both at the same time otherwise.

And, finally...
Set Up Screen. One of the items is Background Color. But, you have to set individual RGB values.
That's why it took me a bit to get my colors just right.
my kenwood double din lets me have independent video and audio, so radio and CAMP2 could be on at same time. I'm sure thats a standard feature in all the multimedia headunits.

But, I can...
Looks good, mine is scheduled for delivery today. Damn backorders...
Anyways, install looks very straight forward. I opted for the extra sensors though. I am hooking mine up to a cubby screen as well with audio ran through my rear speakers (along with my navigation setup)

IMO, the only thing bad about the CAMP2 is instead of the RCA audio outputs provided, they should just add a built in alarm speaker. No one will have their stereo on just for the CAMP2 alarms. Most of the time, we will be listening to something through the head unit.
the camp unit will read boost from the Fcon if you are running the map sensor, which I would think you are. As far as the A/F gauge, it won't read anyting other than the HKS AFR/knock amp
