Default vortech pulleys

When removing changing the pulley out what is the best way to do this. By holding the nut on both sides (pulley side and cog side) is the cog bolt normal right hand thread?

Yes, its a normal thread. I had to use an impact wrench for the pulley side because it just spun freely once I loosend the cog side.

I used a strap wrench on the pulley and an open end wrench on the bolt. I see you live here in south Fla, If it gives you too much trouble I can help you out.
