Default HKS VQ35DE Forged Internals

Does anyone have any extra information on these internals? I was thinking of getting these installed on my car at the same time I go FI. I've read that they are a bit pricey for what they offer, but if they make my car super safe up to around 400HP I think the cost is worth it to me.

Feedback please, and thank you. And this may be in the wrong sub-forum but I thought it would be related to a turbo'd car.

There are other alternatives than spending the extra money on HKS. None of the 350z owners here, that are making 600-1000hp are running HKS.

For rods:

Pauter(best imo)
Carillo
Eagle(cheapest but safe for what your looking for)
Manley

For Piston:

Aries
JE
Ross
CP

Thanks for the feedback, but let's say I do go with the HKS, what kind of HP will I be safe to?

Not sure what the HKS are rated for, but I believe the Eagle rods (Like $550) are good for 700hp.

I'd like to know what makes the Pauter's the best? IIRC the eagles are lighter, far cheaper, and I have never seen a documented case of them failing.

Unless you are shooting for the moon, you are just a name ***** and wasting your money if you go with anything but Eagles IMO.

I have been running 396rwhp and put on 9,000 miles with no issues. I have been thinking about the HKS inturnals as well or cosworth. GTM or another HKS dealer could give you more info on what they can handle...

yea 400crank or rwhp stock is fine.

pauter rods, weisco pistons, acl bearings, I made 769rwhp (these same rods have seen 1033rwhp on a VQ). To me overkill is good....but damn these stock sleeves.
