has anyone ever installed a turbonetics kit on a Z roadster? i am told that the kit was not designed for the roadster only for the coupe. thanks in advance for any feedback..

 

What year roadster do you have?

i have the turbonetics kit on my 04 roadster. The only problem I found when installing the kit was that on the roadsters there is a counterweight installed on the front frame rail near the front of the driver's side tire (it will be right in the way of where the wastegate will bolt up). its just 3 nuts to take off then you have to grind down the studs to make room for the intercooler piping, its no big deal just a little extra pita.

edit: my car is a 6mt

 

my car is a 2004 6m/t. there are 2 counterweights one in the rear. what are they for? can you remove the rear one too? is there an aftermarket radiator that will fit. the turbo makes it very hard. tried the mishimoto. no way.
