Op-you spent money modding the car, spend money on driving lessons. Perhaps common sense----> FEATHER the throttle and make it happen. I could hook up in 1st gear on my TN kit with almost 400/400 numbers and -2 rear camber.

+10000^10

On my high pump gas boost map, I hook almost completely in second as well. Also, on w/g pressure (~10psi and 488 whp dynojet, I hook in every gear!).

If you don't take the advice above, perhaps removing the tires entirely would help, try the rim grip technique, lol.

bah just try the tank mod:

add weight, more wheels, a tank tread, and a bunch of guys on top for the best traction

I got a 5AT 06 350Z with the grand touring 19 & 18" Rays rims. I have them equipped with Yokohama ADVAN sport tires. Now I had them for about 10 - 15k miles now (need to check my receipt), so I am thinking that maybe tire wear or type may be the problem? I went up to 360WHP and I seem to just get caught in a burnout once the supercharger kicks in every time I try to launch in first gear with traction turned off (flooring it that is), so maybe it's my driving or maybe its something else, but I definitely can't seem to floor it in first right now. Even second gear can be pretty crazy at times right now since my car almost wanted to spin out just earlier when I was flooring it on a freeway entrance, luckily VDC was still on and I managed to regain control easily. Anyways I would definitely like some advice on what I can do.
FI is a totally different ball game. you need to control your throttle at lower gears/speed (something you never had to worry about on a stock z). don't just go out and get wider tires.. it's important that you learn how to control the beast!

Take your car to a shop to have an alignment done, not the dealer. Too much negative camber in the back, prolly -1.5. See if they can get you to a -.5, for street driving that would be better for you.

1 degree more negative camber makes a HUGE difference. I run -1 only and it hooks nicely given the power/tires.

Supercharged auto should be able to accelerate without much wheel spin. Ive been for a ride in a supercharged manual and there wasnt any wheel spin that I noticed.

What is the actual specs of those tyres? ie width, profile, pressures etc?

What suspension are you running / spring rates?

How hard does the modified valve body shift? Is the wheel spin occuring when it changes gears?

Prior to having my rear camber changed I would still spin thru 3rd gear, same tires NT-555 40/275 18"/wheels changing from -1.5 to -.5 I only spin excessively in 1st gear. My head unit has a built in G meter, it shows a definate increase in G force and the car "feels" faster. This alignment would probably suck on a track car but mine is a DD. I did have a set of Tien Comfort Sport coilovers installed at the same time I had the camber changed, the car rides a lot better but I don't think that changed traction issues more than the camber did.
