Roger actually recommended the FX400, but I wanted the twin disk FX600 thinking it would be stronger and less grabby. I think you are probably better off with the FX400. In hind sight, I should have listened to Roger and went with his recommendation. Also another lesson learned.

Thanks for the heads up.

Note to self - be sure the clutch is warmed up before doing any hard launches.

Good choice on the clutch. I dunno how much power that guy who said his slips when not hot, but I make a good amount over 650whp and I dont heat it and it wont slip. In fact, after grenading a tranny at the track, I dont heat them up anymore, and 99% of the time it wont slip. Occasionaly a fast shift on a cold clutch will give me some slippage briefly.

Cool. The Carbonetics was installed today. I'm scheduled to get the suspension set tomorrow morning. But since I head up to Sebring on Sat., not a whole lot of time left for tuning. I'll probably go with a conservative tune and no meth. Still, it will be fun, but I can't wait until everyting is completely dialed in.

The twins with softer pressure plate are prone to this. The triples are slip free at all temps and power levels...upwards of 800whp.

TF, good luck at the track....have fun and be safe.

Thanks Sharif. Again, I cannot THANK YOU enough. You guys kick *ss!!! If it were not for you being able to get the clutch out, this weekend would have been a complete wash out. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

It will be fun! Safe is a very relative term, however. I'm telling Roger "let's go"... but Roger is trying his best to keep me under control in my first outing. I think that he has put so much work into my car, he would not be able to handle it if I crash. He would probably be more upset than me.
