He's certainly never done me wrong. Whenever we were working on any of his cars he would buy us food, drinks or whatever. We would help him set up at car shows and all that, he would buy our way into a couple of... *cough* .. adult clubs.
He let me store my tools in his storage for a while after I left SGP, I think i still have my unlimited Planet Zero card, sounds like a cool cat to me. I havn't done any research on his image or supposed scandals or anything so it's really just my personal opinion.

 

if thats your opinion then it is what it is. what im stating is facts, not opinions.supposed scandals? s h i t. your barking up the wrong tree. im talking about FACTS real true FACTS. i can sit here and name at least 4 people that he fubar'ed alot of money from. and thats just the tip of the iceberg, i personally shouted out to him in my feature in import tuner BEFORE i knew he was a con artist. if i wouldve known, i wouldnt have said **** about him. regardless of what he tried to do, but failed, for the import community here in houston. one of the main people that is still trying and been behind majority of the revamping of the community is one person only. john P. john leigh is a "ghost" in this country. his name doesnt even go back to his identity to my knowledge.

unlimited planet zero card? you mean the card and business his wife funds? shows how much you know. john leigh is all talk. dude talks it, but def. dont walk it. i personally, dont like him and i speak on alot of people that is afraid to come out and say it.

and where do you think he got the money from to get you in or buy you in to "ahem" the adult clubs? from working? ahhahahaha, no. from scamming people. supposed scandals? not supposed, facts is what im about, not stories or previous strip club encounters with a douche bag

This is what Mike has been saying for a while now about forum members shining the light on shops so people can see what really goes on with builds and mistakes. All these guys/shops around Houston are connected in some round about fashion and its always been little whisper smear campains about who did what to whom. The real stories are finally coming to light after all this time and I still can't believe people haven't been sued or done jail time yet.

 

Man, I don't know where you get all this hostility from. Seems like your just gunning for me on any post I make. You say he made all that money from scamming people, when it's pretty obvious that his old lady put up the money to get the arcade started.

Obviously you guys have a history but that doesn't give you the right to go and put me on blast for callin him a decent guy with a massive ego. Your opinion, based on facts or not, is your opinion and mine is mine, leave it at that instead of getting personal.

Seriously though... We had a couple certain SGP faithful post in here about what a great & cool guy Mark was with them and how he is in person. Hell... I met Mark once and he seemed really cool. But we all know that Mark is really a POS scammer that ripped off numerous people (myself included). Several people also have stated how nice Scott Bush is in person too. But we all know he's a POS scammer in reality too.

Sooo... your little warm & fuzzy story about how John Leigh is a good guy cuz you were hanging out and he was a really cool cat, bought you food & drinks, got you into adult clubs, etc... means jack squat.

 

Na, we didn't work there during the same time period, and yes you never mess with a man's tools or his vehicle.

I've been doing some searching and fail to find any incriminating info about John. I'm sure a lot of people have good reasons to dislike him, but I'm not one of them. If you have a solid source of this dirt, please point me in the right direction.

there's things that weren't installed properly and what not.... jtran's finding all these stuff and having to clean things up...

no one else has done any major/minor work to my car but sgp...

but as far as repairs and minor things here and there was done by me... but.... the things they're finding i was no where near it....

 

So now Mark is working at Hennessey... go figure.
