parting out vs possible resale
I am in debate of taking steps to part out or sell as modded. Obviously money invested is mostly gone. I have an 03 brickyard touring with decent wheel, vortech 2.87 dynoed at 360whp, utec, pillar with aem a/f gauge and boost, HFC, borla td exhaust. If offering to include any stock parts, i was wondering if i would have a shot of tacking on maybe 3-4k. Think bluebook is around 14k for my condition, so trying to get 17k?
Just trying to avoid having to pull the SC and utec as much as possible, but if i have to part out i would understand. I have never traded a car in before, but i assume this stuff would be frowned upon if i did. If i converted back to stock what kind of hit should i expect from the bluebook. Just trying to get my numbers square before i take the next step for a new car.

depending on how soon you need to sell, I might consider putting the whole car up for sale on all the Z boards first.
for me, it might depend on if you can remove the parts yourself or if you feel better about paying someone to do it. And even then you gotta track down stock parts if you haven't kept them. If you have to end up paying a shop to remove parts, it's totally not worth parting out IMO

^^ ya in that case, you just take the loss. still the market for a boosted NA car is slim, esp in this economy. People dont wanna a car with horrible gas mileage that might blow up on them in a month.
Plus its a vortech kit, maybe 20 mins to uninstall. Those injectors are small enough the stock ecu should have no problem controlling them.

well i can handle all uninstall work except i was concerned if i pulled and plugged the vortech appropriately if i could up and gank the utech and things be square? Might need to be talking to my previous tuner
