Default I need opinons about this setup

I have a 2003 z and i have 98000 highway miles on it. The car runs great and i do my oil change every 2000 miles, the problem is that my car burns oil slightly. What i want to know if its a good idea to slap a turbonetics kit and run at low boost untill I rebuild the engine? I just want to know what you guys say and i will take into consideration but.. either way Ima do it anyway i dont care if my motor blows as long im having fun lol... anyway what are your thoughts..

Figure out why you're burning oil first ... I personally wouldn't FI a car with a known problem.

If you have the money for a built block do it . If you have money for installing/uninstalling and then installing it back on a new built block put it on the stock engine and give it hell!

I would recommend getting twins versus TN though . My 2 cents

decide your where you want to end up first. You may need to upgrade the TN kit to get to your ultimate goal. I say why pay twice.

For most twins you need to pull the motor (well its a hell of a lot easier but required on the SP kit anyway). Since my motor was gonna be out anyway And I planned on building it in the next year, I just opted to do it all at once.

just my $.02

Tom
