Default The Wideband O2 sensor / Oil Pressure sensor

I finished attaching my gauges to the a pillar, and routed the wire (Defi BF gauge wire to Link Unit). Now through some research I found out where to connect the boost.

My question is.. for the EGT, Oil Pressure / Wideband.. where did you all run your sensors through? I mean.. going from the center dash through the passenger's side firewall into the downpipe or oil pan seems like a long way to go. I'm not even sure if the wires are that long.

I talked to one other person on this board and they said they bent the metal right next to the transmission to get their sensors in. I was thinking about drilling that rubber too if all else fails.

Please help! I'm almost done and ready to go turn-key... that damn mid uppipe is not fitted properly or something.

If the wires are long enough, I might do that.

It's not like it's a vacuum tube so distance shouldn't matter too much.

bump, I'm currently trying to configure my wiring route.. I have a wideband on the driverside cat and oil temp sensor hooked up at the oil filter.. I, too, feel like my defi gauge wires are too short to go thru the pass side behind the battery.

I ran mine through a grommet behind the clutch. I had wideband, oil temp, and boost all going through there. Now just oil temp and oil pressure. It's about 1/2" in diameter just above the dead pedal. The best way to run that stuff is to take the wheel off and take the inner fender liner out.

If you run thru the battery compartment grommet be sure to reseal it with silicon, so next time it rains your ECM doesn't take a bath.

I ran boost thru the passenger side grommet and wide band up thru the tranny tunnel hole into the center console....

Jus make sure u seal things up good so no water runs in, specifically at the grommet on the pass side....

Good luck!

I did what binder recommended.. I ran everything through the grommet above the dead pedal and thru the fender. I didnt even know this hole was there.. It was by far the easiest way to run these wires.. Thanks!
