TT'd C6 Completey Built?
OMFG I'm shooting myself in the head right now. I have 2 Zs as some of you know and I've had nothing but problems with them since day 1. I love this car but after driving felt it was too heavy for the track and in the last 60 days have purchased a Noble M12 GTO. I love this car too but it doesn't have the pull/feel that I got in my TT'd Z. This morning as I'm waiting for a flight I see the following. I love the C6 and have driven a Z06 and was pleased but after seeing renderings of the C7 decided no now I'm wondering what you guys think and a couple questions:
1. Anybody driven or rode in a TT'd Vette
2. Anybody know some serious shops who've invested time into the platform
3. What is the tuning scene like in that world
4. Am I crazy or is this an incredible deal
I've emailed the gentlemen who owns the car and I'm gonna fly out to inspect but I've been here long enough to trust opinions of the people in the FI section hence why I posted here. Mod's please move if required. Below are the specs on the car:
I have an Orange County Corvette Built 2007 C6 completely customized from the ground up. It was built to last forever, did not cut one corner building it. I am moving to Norway and will not have any use for this type of car in the snow in the far north. Over 140k invested with receipts, will sell for 67.5K. If you are looking for a ZR1/Lambo/Porche/Ferrari eater, look no farther. 10k Miles, Less than 2k on new engine and mods.

Buddy of mine has a c5 Zo6 with a built longblock and custom lingenfelter TT kit. I rode in it when it was on 9psi, roughly 650ish whp, and it felt extremly fast. It didnt have the umph at the start like I thought it would have but rather it felt very liniear almost like a huge s/c or something. But for what its worth, yea it feels retarded so for me atleast the answer would be simple. Z < C6TT

My brother-in-law has a c5 with a supercharger on it and its just like Jon stated in his post. It does not have the low end grunt you would expect, but up top its a monster. I've been with him at 180+ and it had more in it.
Downside, I was a member of that community for several years and two things are certain. It's a bunch of older guys 40+ that are more into showing their cars than driving them hard and every review of serious HP shootouts I have read about involving TT Vettes ends up with some kind of malfunction or mechanical breakdown. IMO TT vette = TT Z - different cars, similar issues.
One last issue to consider, I would guess that it is a lot harder to sell/part out a modified vette since there are far fewer younger guys in the scene looking to buy used parts at a discount. I realize for you the is probably a non-issue, I'm just sayin.

Don't be getting any ideas. I think I'm gonna jump on it. Waiting for the guy to call me back and setup a time to inspect it. Gonna be hard splaining to the boss why I'm pulling 70K out of the account after I just bought what I promised would be the last car for at least a year hehehe time for woman worship and begging

Buy it man...you won't be sorry. I had a foxbody supercharged mustang so I used to roll with the domestic crowd and some of my buddies had vettes that we're supercharged and tt'd. They were a blast dude, I can't explain how much fun those car's were. Those we're C5 ZO6's though so I'm sure the C6 is better. The LS series motors are strong. I wouldn't say they have too many issues. Modifying a car always opens up a new realm of problems. Anyway...I say jump on it if you have the cash.
