I made the drive to Japtrix bc I had heard good things about it. I went to get my test pipes installed and my Vortech SC tuned. My experience was less than satisfactory. The test pipes install went smooth besides the fact that it started a couple hours after my appointment time, which was around 9 am, and that the installer had never worked on a 350z before. Apparently he was new, but the whole reason I took my car there was bc I thought they "specialized" on the Z. The tuning didnt start until around 4, bc the tuner was nowhere to be found and they didnt know when he was coming. They didnt even have the R4 software in the shop to tune the splitsecond. They blamed it on the fact that someone brought the wrong computer or some BS. After another hour of trying to D/L the software, the process finally began. Before the tuning started, I noticed that the boost line that leads to the splitsecond was cut. This could have been a disaster if the car was boosting w/o the splitsecond sensing it. I don't know if the line had deteriorated or if it was the shops fault when they manipulated my splitsecond. To make matters worse, the tuner was not familiar with the R4 software and was not open to any suggestions. He was a arrogant and a d!ck to be honest. Once again, I thought they would be familiar with the Z and the software. At one point, I thought he blew my engine and that it was never going to be the same again. He blamed the poor tuning on the gapping of my spark plugs. I had just installed the new NGK spark plugs the week before with the gapping that everyone reccomended on the the forum (which i cannot recall at this time). He also tried to tell me that I needed bigger injectors, which we all know is false bc the vortech has been tuned with the stock injectors flawlessly. After all that, the shop did not even acknowledge the hastle/inconvenience they put me through and they were quite unprofessional. On a good note, the car has been running decently with no issues after about 8 months, i think. Though it is still running rich and not as smooth as it could. I dont think I will take my car back to Japtrix again.

It was a joke. Forged Performance is in Marietta, GA.
I was racing a guy at the drag strip who had a 240sx and he said he had a Utec and fever racing tuned his car. He spoke very highly of the guy and seemed like a straight shooter, plus he beat me when we raced
