Default ATI Procharger Question??

I had my mind set on only going turbo but now I am considering the S/C. There are two different models. What is the difference?

1) ATi Procharger Intercooled ($4,499)
2) HO Intercooled Supercharger System w/ High Flow Fuel Pump
($4,799)

I just what to know what the difference is before I spend an extra $300. and what does HO stand for?

I think choice 1 is the "tuner" version, which does not come with the fuel pump or fuel management system. It would be a good choice if you have a piggyback ECU and are planning on changing injectors, PWM duration, or whatever.

Option 2 is the kit that most people here have been using. It comes with the high pressure fuel pump and a management system that I think changes the fuel pressure based on the boost level and RPM. You don't need to change injectors, change your ECU or anything like that. Just tune the controller based on your conditions. You don't have as much flexibility as the "tuner" version, but then again, everything you need is included (except tuning time).

The cheaper kit, usually is known as a "tuner kit" meaning that your tuner (installer) is responsable for the fuel system, and other aspects.

The other kit, is the complete unit that comes from ATI. With the EFMU, and Fuel pump.

Ok Thanks.

This is different but...Can I put a Front Mount Intercooler on a N/A setup or do I need a Turbo or S/C?
