Default code p0057

hey guys quick question im gettin code p0057, which means its time to replace an o2 sensor(code=o2 sensor low voltage) . Now the code is for bank 2 sensor 2. I know that the sensor is one of the ones located in the test pipes. however which is bank 2, the driver or passengers side? Also from which direction are you looking at the car, head on or from the drivers seat. thanks for any help.

Bank 1 = right hand side = passenger side
Bank 2 = left hand side = driver side

I have the same problem too, I changed both O2 sensors with the same code p0057. I reset the light and came back on again after 2 days.

Anyone know what needs to be done now ?

Could be bad wiring. ECU could also be f'd if the wiring problem is a short.

how did you reset the code? In my experience with 02 sensor CEL related, the code always come back after a few days if I just use the ODBII reader to clear it, but If I do the battery disconnect for a few hours/over night, then the CEL stay away.

If you have test pipes you might need to the spark plug non-fouler mod on your O2 sensors.

I agree with Zero260 if you have test pipes and you have fouled out the original o2 sensors then they are done, chances of cleaning them are slim to none to make them reusable. If you have non foulers then your non fouler hole needs to be VERY small, I had this issue and refouled a new 02 sensor and used even smaller holes to prevent the issue on my resonated test pipes which actually worked.

Is the sensor fuse in the hidden fuse box?
