Power Steering melted by Greddy turbo!
Well I have a bad leak from the power steering hard line (return line) right by the turbo on the passanger side. The turbo melted the return line and caused it to leak out all of my fluid. Has anyone else ever had this problem before? And if so how have you fixed it? Right now its at Nissan on a lift waiting for me to figure out what I want to do. Its $360.00 to order a new steering rack and I dont wanna spend that much so I guess Im open to any suggestions at this point!

I had this happen too. I noticed some PS fluid leaking under the car. IIRC, it is the compressor housing that rubs against the PS hard line and will wear a hole in the PS line. I took my line off, had the line welded up, and then reinstalled it (with a new bend in the line) so that it clears the turbo.
I self-installed my kit. IF I were to ever install another one of these kits, I would know to bend that line out of the way. I'm sure all the regular shops who install alot of greddy kits do this now, too.

Thanks Shariff, Im sure Ill be able to find more stuff for ya in the future. Esp this time next year. Chris the bumper tuck is where you roll the rear bumper up in the center so it gets rid of the 2 exhaust holes and makes on giant one across the bumper. Just seach "bumper tuck" It looks awsome with the AAM exhaust also. And happy near you too you also man.

Ah, I wondered if I was the only one who has had this problem before. LOL
I had this happen a couple months ago and just went down to Checker auto parts, got flex PS line and replaced that whole line with a flex hose.
