I think its good for 550 but either way, it doesnt matter what turbo you put in there. Like the gentleman above me said, IAT is gonna rape your butthole. You better meth up like a feen.

I am well aware of the ITA temps with TN kit. I am also aware of the problems that Craig has had with his car trying to make big power with it.
I am not trying to make 550 hp on the kit and built motor alone. I am just looking for 475 or so on the turbo/built block setup. I will be running meth injection along with 75 – 100 shot of nitrous to make the power I am looking for. Like I said before I think 550 is doable. I just would like to do something that is a little different than everyone else. If it fails then my money/my problem.

I will also have a built block with a custome turbonetics setup. I bought the kit from ILLBZNU. Its a TN kit with GTK 650 turbo, custom 3 inch DP and Tial 60mm wastegate. I should be getting my car back within the next few weeks. I will make a new thread with the numbers. I talked with Craig a few times about the short comings on the TN kit and different solutions with boost issues. Max a TN kit would go with be upper 500hp. Which is decent for what the kit is.

Ya, well glad to here there are some people willing to go a different route.

Im not going for max power or some crazy insane setup. Only looking to get about 500+ hp no running meth or water injection and will probably do a 50 shot to top it off. I dont see why 500hp on none meth isnt possible. With the head work i plan on doing as well as a couple more breather mods.

As far as the SC-61 turbo goes. As long as the exhaust housing is a T3, i should be able to pick any turbine housing and compressor cover right?

Looking at this website....

http://shopping.lightningmotorsports...rbo-p-693.html

Thanks for the help.

Yes keep the T3 housing and pick what ever turbine housing you prefer. I have a friend who is running a custom single setup with the PT-61.

I think he just wants to have his TN kit go up to 500hp. GTM and National Speed already did this so the guy should be alright. Now anything over 550hp and he would have to look at a different kit.

Ya i dont think you guys really understand.

Im only looking for 500+ whp. Nothing more. Im not looking to invest crazy amounts of money for 700hp, if i wanted to do that i would just go invest in a supra.

The fact of the matter is that i live in california, and if i get my hood popped and have to take all this off. i rather only have 7k invested instead of 15k. Maybe it doesnt make sense to you guys, but seems reasonable to me.
