I'm looking for something like the GTM one too since my motor is back in. May have to jump on the bandwagon as well.

Sam, can you confirm how many ports the GTM one has?

I don't trust a vacuum port to hold the 120+psi oil pressure that our cars see.

I honestly don't see the problem with using the Vacuum block. You have to thread the vacuum block ports with metal fittings. Its not like you are attaching plastic fittings that can break or leak. It should work just fine. I'll let you all know how it works for me. And I'll take some pics of what I do.

Assembling the parts I've accumulated thus far:
-Oil distribution block
-plugs for extra ports
-SS hose
-Fittings

Lets see how they look so far.

Overall a pretty wide channel for oil. Not restrictive at all:

I don't intend to use this much hose but just for demonstration purposes:


This end leads to the engine block where the stock oil pressure sensor is connected:


The block comes with 5 ports (the 4 u see + 1 on top) but I will only need 4 so here is a plug:


1 Port for each Turbo (that's 2) using the upgraded -4an Forged Greddy SS Lines
1 for the stock Oil Pressure sender
1 for the AEM Oil Pressure gauge

nice!!! subbing for future use. I have the same vacuum block on my car. I also need 2 additional ports for oil sensors and I dont want to add another sandwich adaptor. Where do you plan on mounting the distribution block?

I would like to find a home for the block somewhere just behind the oil filter and away from any hot parts. I'll put up pix when it goes in.

I was just looking at a1manifold supply's website and them seem to be great. They have very cheap prices with excellent cad drawings so you know exactly what you will be getting. I might need to get one for vaccum and one for oil.

Well if ou only need 2 additional ports you may want to look into the GTM version. Its compact and should do the job. I did ask George or Sam, how many ports their version has and never got a straight answer, but based on the pics I've seen it looks like a minimum of 3 ports so you should be OK with that one. SEE THREAD #6

My project necessitates at least 4 ports which is why i opted for a distribution block. Again its 1 for each turbo feed (I run a TT set-up so 2 ports), then 1 for the OEM Oil Pressure sending unit and a 4th for my additional AEM Oil Pressure gauge. (So 4 in all) Th block you see in the pix above has a total of 7 holes.
2 large gauge ports of which I am using 1 for the feed from the engine block itself. The other end is capped off.
Then with the remaining 5 smaller gauge ports I will use only 4. So I included a cap for 1 of the 5. (also shown in the pix above)

That setup looks nice, much cleaner than previous. Looking forward to your final install. Where did that distribution block come from?

I saw the PowerLab piece and compared it to one I found on E-Bay. Same quality and less than 1/2 the price. Kind of hard to screw that up. Its just an aluminum block with holes drilled and tapped. So I took a chance and so far so good.

I machined it out of some aluminum scrap, I think it was 1x1 6061. I can't remember anymore.

Alright, finally got a chance to work on the car. Here is what I started with:


I removed the old stuff and installed the 1/8 NPT to -6AN fitting seen here:


I tried assembling it in this configuration and capping off the top port.
NO GOOD!


I made sure the opposite end was capped off and all fittings were wrapped with teflon tape:


I modified the fittings to this configuration;




Now to find a home for the new block:


Somewhere along the crossmember should work just fine:


Just test fitting with the hoses attached to make sure nothing interferes:


Measured and cut my SS hose to connect the block to the port leading out from the motor:


Drilled a Pilot hole and used a self tapping screw to hold the block in place:


Finished product;


Let me know what you think.
