build advice

I've finally got some time and the money to start working on my Z. I'm looking to make about 450 whp or so. Right now all I've got is a set of DC Sports headers and full Nismo exhaust on the exit side and the 8 psi Vortech kit on the intake side. I'm in the process of getting my hands on the Hydra EMS. I'm just looking for some advise on what else I should buy to get to my goal. BTW I've also already got an ACT Stage 3 clutch. Any help would by greatly appreciated, thanks a lot everyone.

fuel pump.....injectors....smaller pulley.... t trim blower..... test pipes.... pulley mod .... a good tuner .... meth injection......

anything else guys ..... oh yeah .... more research...

my advice is to stay out of the FI forums bc umm u SUCK! my car is air on the intake side and black on the exit side

. I say start at selling ur car and leaving the forum

For that price get a Haltech or just get a used Utec and a nice tune from Dave at F:T.

Save yourself the trouble with the Hydra and get a Haltech instead. Then injectors, pulley, and a good tune!

Why not a built motor with Vortech? A 4.2L with stock compression and a T-trim would be one bad SOB. An expensive one at that, but it could be done. The only reason we haven't seen one is $$$$$$. You could build an even stronger turbo setup for alot less.
