It was finally over 40 degrees yesterday, nothing special but just wanted to share some entertainment. I have also noticed a couple of new Vortech guys on here so this is what you can look forward to (this is a 3.12 pulley) (I'm guessing about 4.5 sec 0-60 and 10.5 sec 0-100 with my weaksauce launch in the one video). I am going for the 2.87, something other than my stock exhaust and a re-tune as soon as it warms up.

yup my vortech kit will be going in in 2 weeks once my buddy gets home from florida and can get my car in his garage, im gonna be running 3.12 with full exhaust and some other supporting mods, can't wait..

Not yet but I am going to run it before my 2.87 and tune this spring. Be nice to see if a Vortech 3.12 can get into the 12's.

You have sooooooooooooooo much more grip in 1st than I do. Launching like that in my car would be an exercise in traction futility all the way up through 3rd gear.

What size and type of tires are you running?

i have no question in my mind i will go 12's with the 3.12 pulley tuned with full exhaust. i also have mt et streets i will be running, but still even with street tires i would expect high 12's. i went 13.8 bone stock ..i expect very low 12's on the slicks with the 3.12 and the supporting mods i will be running

and holy ****, i would never drive my z in the winter, back n/a or especially FI. . just cause of all the **** though on the roads, salt and sand, ugh

 

That's my friends Stang it has a 347. I just have Stock size Toyo's on my stock rims. I'm hoping the 2.87 and retune will make my stock tires a problem haha.

yeah, u were 8psi and stock exhaust and everything, so right there says it...get that exhaust flowin...i now have dc headers, berk metallic high flows, and nismo exhaust, can't wait to get this charger on and tuned with the 3.12 for now, then the 2.87 down the road with injectors and pump and a utec, and get some times with the sticky mickeys. like i said im shooting for very very low 12's with the 3.12 with supporting mods with the slicks all day, good vids
