This seems like the best option vs the big mondo bypass valve if someone is making 12-18psi without worrying about welding a new flange/pipping.

No it doesn't really sound like a BOV. But I would say it sounds closer to a BOV than the Vortech BPV does.

Yep pretty much. Ill post up pics of size comparison. The inlet is bigger is bigger than the vortech. I doubt that it flows more than the Mondo though. The mondo is monstrous.
