Use the one on the top. The one on the back is for that "pop-off" feature.

NP man. LMK how far you tightened yours down. I tightened it down a little more than halfway and it holds boost pretty well.

the screw just determines at how many mmHg that the bypass closes. It should have no effect on if "it holds boost pretty well"

WTF?! Where is the vid or sound clip for this thing?
I bought my vortech kit from a fellow member on this forum and he included the HKS Race bypass valve with the kit. I wanna know how it sounds before I decdie between that and the RFL BOV...

id be more concerned on how it worked over how it sounds. any real exhaust will overpower the BPV noise anyhow.

I think what I'm trying to figure out is what type of flange is on the vortech bov and what can it be replaced with. I'm looking at buying a new BPV to replace my vortech one, is the flange a greddy or HKS flange?

5 minutes with a welder and it can be any flange. the HKS bypass bolts right on though

I got the nismo exhaust with test pipes.. and my vortech is loud !!!.. I can still hear the bpv when shifting in boost though... I would like to hear the hks, maybe is louder? I love the soundd

. sucks about the vortech that to really hear the bpv, you reallyyy have to push down the gas.. kinda jealous of the turbo guys haha. other than that all I hear is the whistle from partial throttle.=/

Alright for the two SLACKERS, and yes, i use that term strongly (heh heh), who never posted videos of their HKS BV install, i'm finally going to finish this thread off and provide a video of my HKS BV install.
