Chef - is that an Innovate A/F gauge?? If so, why does it read three dashes? I have the same gauge and mine has never done that.

Sorry, I wasn't being clear, watch your youtube vid and you will see the A/F read just dashes a few times.

Yeah that was my vid. When I let off the gas it goes to dashes because there is no fuel being injected into the engine and just air moving out the exhaust. This is normal. When I simply turn the car off the A/F will still register because there are still fumes in the exhaust, when you lift off for a second or two while driving down the road in gear the engine pumps these fumes out and you get the dashes. Oh and its an AEM UEGO gauge.

Just make sure your belt is tight and you don't have any leaks. Do a boost pressure test as discussed earlier in this thread. I had to drive over 600 miles to get my car tuned so I know what you are going through. I later found a major boost leak because I didn't think of doing a pressure test prior. I prolly would of gotten 10-15 more whp and a more accurate tune had I found that leak prior.

So simple. Nice. As far as checking for leaks- you could always use an air pressure gauge to see if it is holding air or not. Then hunt it down.

Or a boost gauge. Hopefully if you have FI you will have one of these too. I wouldn't pressurize much more than 10-15 psi though. This pressure test kit can also help find exhaust leaks since the exhaust tips is where it is capped off.
