Looks like you are getting into the "toys" aspect of the pieces now. Not that thats a bad thing.

I went with function (knowing the CAN gauge was coming out for the PRO-EFI anyway). Its bland but I have zero compaints with the AEM Tru boost, and holds boost rock solid (right up to 30psi no problems, only problem beyond 30psi is I can't display the boost right now lol).

I say like others said check with the supra or DSM folks. They have a lot more experience with every boost controller out there.

how would flushing in the gizzmo be any different than flushing in the EVC? prolly easier to do the EVC since its shallower.

but the gizzmo has a very nice price point and would be my choice of the 2 (based on some googling only though)

I will try to get some pics up of my install, its in the sunglass holder. I love it up there and IMO it is a clean install( wires run through A pillar and roof liner).

Interesting... Is that with the EVC-6 or something else? I'd like to see pics if you got them.

Until I read this thread, I had not heard of either of the two units the OP is asking about.

OP, after you choose one and install it, please post your thoughts on it and let us know how well it works.

Will do. It's looking like I'm moving in the direction of the Gizzmo MS-IBC if I not turned to the "Dark side" (EVC-6) in the next few days. The only thing that will convince me at this point to just submit and get the EVC-6 is if someone post the installation instructions and specs.

Gizzmo has theirs available to anyone on their website.

More info on the Gizzmo MS-IBC from a google seach like Blck350z advised and this is what I found.

Quote for STATUS TUNING - www.statustuning.com

"I did a comparison a while back on IBC vs BLITZ vs HKS etc and the IBC held its own against all the others and in fact was better than the HKS EVC (latest version)... I will try find the post as I had dyno graphs etc...

I try and keep all the gizzmo controllers in stock as they are the BEST bang for buck around, and many can't afford the BLITZ DSBC."

As you can see I found more on the Skyline forums than the Supra forums.

I have the EVC manual, but it is 49 pages. If you are seriously considering the EVC, PM me your e-mail and I'll send you a pdf with some of the pages that may be relevant to your decision.

EDIT: I made a pdf with some of the more relevent pages. I'll e-mail it to you when I get your e-mail address.

Well haven't heard anything about the gizzmo, but I will have to do some research on it & it is way more cost efficient, but I guess u get what u pay for. Let me know how it goes, i just went turbo, so i'm still building.

This is definately a late statement, BUT, i got the Utec and the turbo xs boost controller and have the map switch and map sensor. One system running everything, and i'm very happy. Of course if you don't have utec, then this is a pointless statement for non-utec owners, but the ophas a utec.
