Default "Hiding" a single turbo kit in California?

Anyone have any good ideas and/or pictures as to a good way to make a single turbo kit look like it's not there in our cars without spending a ton of money?

STS makes a rear mount turbo kit that you may be able to hide easier.

How about just not opening your hood and black annodize the intercooler?

I think there was actually a "stealth build" tread a while back, you should try to find that.

...Oh, and rather than painting or anodizing the FMIC you should look into this coating. Not only is it supposed to improve cooling but as an added bonus it's also black.

+1 on the Swain coatings. I have used them for years on several applications. It works.

We have black anodized the coolers on a few cars it looks great and prevents scratching the aluminum but its has to be good quality or it comes out patchy. Oh by the way black helps dissipate the heat faster.

+1 on the STS turbo.

The rear turbo is the best way to fool the cops and u can tell them your charge pipe is a custom cold air intake that connects to an intercooler for more air.

Send a PM to tom - he is putting down stupid power and if he pops the hood it just looks like dual CAIs. He may be able to steer you in the right direction.
