Shop Wall of Shame
PM'd Yeah, the original owner is a complete fawktard. I did manage to tune it at over 600 RWHP though but fried the tranny like 2 days afterwards. That's when my nightmare started...
why HP Logic? you compare one person with a tuning experience (really customer service in her eyes) to hack jobs and blown motors?
I have a vested interest in the company so I will divulge that, but the story was more of the car was there for 11 days mainly due to the ECU crashing trying to flash it with Osiris which Uprev said they had issues with the first gen ECU's and they came out with a fix right after the second crash. The time was mainly eaten up with FedExing the ECU back and forth.

Like what? Just the typical my350Z throw **** on the wall and see what sticks.
Well here is the timeline of what happenned for the drama queens:
Car brought in on March 14 after multiple last minute cancellations
Car did not run properly so her boyfriend had to work on it, apparently some wiring issue or mixed up coil clips, this was a long self install from what I know
Then the Utec had issues connecting with the laptop, it would connect and disconnect randomly
So it was suggested to them to use Osiris as it had been used on other boosted and NA Z's by Jack
Unfortunately the ECU crashed on the flash attempt and could not be recovered
Uprev said they knew of issues with the first Gen ECU and that it had to be shipped to them
This was explained to the customer and the ECU was shipped to Uprev
The ECU was recovered by Uprev and returned arriving on the 19th
Uprev thought they had the fix for it
The flash was once again attempted and it crashed again
So we talked to Uprev and they admitted they were afraid it might happen again but they finally had a fix so go ahead and ship it back
Again the customer was informed and they did not seem to understand it was not Jack's fault and Jack being a little gun shy after two crashes offered to try the Utec again and see if was possible to make it work
That is the last that was heard from her until we talked to uprev to check on the status of the ECU and were informed by them that she had called Uprev and told them she had decided to take the car to Forged
We still had not heard back from her or her boyfriend even after leaving numerous voicemails for both until we got a call on the 25th that there was a truck 1 mile from the shop going to pick up the car
Now we may have offended her by talking down during the attempt to explain things, but were doing everything to make right. There were no charges for the time wasted trying to get the car started or the Utec working.
I didn't talk to her but this is what I know from this side

Ok sounds like your right Westpack... Not being a drama Queen of any kind, (I know that was directed at me)but when there is shitty customer service constantly or a hack job engine build etc there is no difference to me.. Shitty work is a shame, shitty customer service is a shame too, and it should be noted and put on the wall of shame.. This is to help the community not to stir up drama of any kind... If your offended oh well.. Maybe it will make shops step up there game too for sure..... There are standards that should be made and kept at all levels of workmanship in the car care arena..

If there is a customer or member that wants to put someone on the wall of shame the complaint should be posted.. Then it will give the accused shop time to either defend themselves or let that complaint stand..
So it could look like this
1. VRT: Wall of Shame Complaint- fake dyno sheets, illegal work, welded pistons etc..

Agreed, I don't want to see hearsay posted up either so I'm only putting known bad shops or shops that have done seriously crappy work on customer cars if the customer can throw up some evidence. Last thing I want to do is have a thread where every shop out there get's trashed. Keep in mind guys this is to weed out the bad from the good. I'll commit to only highlighting on the front page if there is supported evidence or multiple customers chime in on ***** work.

LOL no I was not offended and the drama queen was not directed at you but the general masses here that love to feed on it. Just aggravated in general finding that we have to defend ourselves where there was not reason to, just some exaggerations from a customer from the time it was there to what was being done.
I agree customer service is important and the customers perception is their reality whether accurate or not. Unfortunately that leads to stuff like this where people feel they can just trash shops and then the shops have to defend themselves, lucky for the shops that are on here what about the ones that are not and can't/don't defend themselves? the customers view is taken as the truth.
