So i wake up this morning.. and look what i find
Your insurance is messing with you. I keep every receipt for what I do to my car. That way I have proof for them. Like the armor coat paint and so on. This way I was told by my insurance co. to do it and they would replace it. Just not turbos and the like of but body work yes they will.

They not only paid for a new rim...they paid for tire also when the old one could have been fixed....they paid for new sides and also to repaint the lower part of the front bumper that was scratched going on the flatbed truck.
They did not tell me to fix the rim...they replaced it...the same goes for the chargespeed sides which could have been fixed.
So I dont agree with what you have said about GEICO.... You would be shocked to know how much they wrote the check for.

doug, we all know the insurance companies try to dick you with their first offer... they just hope people won't fight or something.
they should cover the damage to the front bumper and side skirts for the same reason even though the rims/tires were 'aftermarket' they paid you for them.
as well, they shouldn't offer the price for REFURB. rims, they should offer you the price of the real OEM replacement parts, which are: 685/rim http://www.courtesyparts.com/kb_sear....php?keywords=[40300MB]+\(z33&cPath=714_715_800_805
refurb are BULL ****.
tires, not a bad price considering yours probably had wear.

thanks guys.. but in this economy and the way bonus was.. Volk's, Work's... those rims are not in my price range right now.. maybe when next year when my company rapes all their customers for renewals
Time for Rotas with Volk stickers
j/k, hope you get what's rightfully yours...They're not the cheapest insurance out there, either
I can't believe they're treating you like this...
Doug, I am truly sorry to see this and then read how the insurance is doing you! That suck something fierce.
Do you not have any additional coverage on your car? I put 20k in customization and it was only $140 every 6 months. A lot of my friends didn't do this and suffered similar fates as you.
Someone mentioned the factory side skirts as replacements and I agree, they should definately compensate you for that.
Wheeeewwww, I literally had to pick my jaw off of the ground when I saw the first pictures! Good luck man...

How can they prove the oem skirts wouldn't have been damaged if they were on? I'd argue that fact.
doug, it's a game to them. They come in and lowball you to see if you agree to their 1st (aka sucker) offer.
