they would have to have an investigation and patrol your area more but i was talking about fraudulent terms.

i didn't say you were doing anything bad, i just said they will most likely do this in this case if you were getting money back from the insurance.

Yeah, it was mostly rims, every now and then there were other break ins... By the looks of it your building is in a pretty highly traveled route, I was back in building 11 last year and luckily no one ever went after my car, Im not running works tho. One thing I noticed was that southern kids would tag my car for upcoming shows every now and then with a flyer. Ask around your area to see if anyone noticed anything... college kids are always willing to lend a helping hand. If you want to PM me your building number I can see if any of my frat brothers live with you and saw anything, they're usually up pretty late, I can also give you an officer to get in touch with @ the hamden PD, an old alum thats a real good guy. By the way are you a QU student, I saw a black blown z pulling into north lot a few times, I always figured it was Rookie.

Hope your insurance gave you a decent rental... I owned an '00 Civic Si and had the factory wheels stolen just like yours but instead of stepping stones, they left it on milk crates -- right infront of my house in a cul-de-sac. I was able to get decent aftmkt wheels/tires and still had a few hundred left over after replacing.
Also, in response to them investigating you for fraud, keep in mind it's easier to investigate a known, rather than an unknown because at this point, you're their only suspect. I.E. easier to look at you and your history than it is to run prints and increase patrols.

thanks man... i am not doing a rental.. i got an altima coupe to put around with for now.. it has a 3.5 VQ so that makes me happy and the push button start and keyless entry is a dream.. KP needs to hurry up and do it for our cars
