Go Big Or Go Home!! PPIHC 928 '09
I hear you on that one. Two years ago we still had the stock wiring panel in the car and were attempting to remove all the extra wires we no longer needed from removed creature comforts. Low and behold when you take the panel out of the car near the passenger side foot rest, all the wires on the back are black and overlapping! That POS got chucked and we just rewired everything in the car including the stock gauge cluster.
I was interested in an S4 at one point until i talked to someone at Exclusive Motorwerks.
Basically all of the work he kept having to do for the cars was finding electronic gremlins. Real pita **** too.
I still miss my 944S though (i got the z because it reminded me of the 944).

How about sharing with us now the starting point...Where are we now in terms of power? Maybe an old dyno chart to see where we stand now then we can compare the improvements you've made.
BTW Great stuff Quamen!!!

I will look for some old dyno graphs. I know that we had made about 415rwhp with mechanical injection and a phased 9th injector. For the last two years though we were running without the 9th injector due to fuel distribution problems and we made about 375rwhp.
I will try to get some dyno graphs this week.
Is the "peak" still only paved part way? I use to have modified BMW 2002 to do the climb when I lived in the Denver metro area years ago. Also had a Porsche like to one trailing behind your 928. Fun car.
Got third place this year again.
We ended up with 46?whp at 10psi on the dyno.

Thank you all for the kind words. It is still amazing how nice the car sounds with straight pipes. Not mufflers or resonators and it is still not all that loud for a race car and still retains a good tone.
A Bonneville car is in the works right now also.
