I guess I'll give them a call and see post back on what they say.
Chef- what pulley are you talking about? I'm talking about the extra pulley to prevent slippage .
Tyler- yeah depending on what they say, I might just go with the minor rebuild . I would really like to run the 2.87 . I have the 3.12 too but I might as well do it now so
I don't get 2 tunes and waste $$$ down the road.

A little oil coming out of your bypass might not be bad seals. You could just have some blow by from the PCV hose attached to the air filter. I would look in your intercooler pipes and see if you have any significant amount of oil in there first.

It is not that hard to rebuild a supercharger if you know what to look for and have the correct tools. Attention to how the bearings are pressed in and seat is the most important part. Seals are a breeze to do. I would say the hardest part is getting the old bearings out if you don't have the appropriate tools.

i don't know if this will help, but the Scion guys have a DIY on TRD(vortech) supercharger rebuild. I think you needed a special wrench to take a bolt off on the inside of the blower itself. They mention that the seals are very thin, so they upgraded to a better/beefier seal and bearings here's the link - check page 4 on the aforementioned thread

Yes sir I did! ill definitely try and lower the pulley! thanks for the heads up.
Its just mist from the bpv. its not dripping or anything. Iam going to order new seals anyways and replace them just to be sure since it isnt very hard to do.

There big into american muscle..... dont know how many Z/Gs theyve done but a vortech supercharger is a vortech supercharger so i dont think they can vary that much.
are you doing the install yourself??? Lemme know if you need a hand. You know im in the area. Never done a vortech install but im pretty mechanically inclined and i have air tools.
