got it yesterday and began reading the manuals today.
The fmu says that the scale setting should be at 10 if your
car reaches 10 psi, 5 for 5psi, etc... Why do most fmu
pictures posted so far show a scale setting around 12?

From the manual, it sounds like it needs to be set at 7 in
order or all 5 slides to be used... Any ideas?

ps. mine came from ati at ~12 also...

 

Mine is at 13. It all depends on the dyno tuning. My installer says that the way mine is, it is a little "safer". I recommend an experienced installer with a dyno.
