Vortech + 85 degree = Killed my A/C.
The same thing happen to me only it wasn't the rubber hose; it was one of the thin aluminum lines that run from the radiator area. In my case the oil feed line was resting against the aluminum line and the heat from the oil feed line melted the aluminum. I had to cut it and use a brass union coupler. I then rerouted the oil line and wrapped it with a rubber hose in certain areas. Good luck with your repairs.

Oh yea, you have a TN kit. Yea let me know frankie! thanks
Is this the line below the Vortech unit that sits close to everything? When I installed my popcharger, I didn't like how it could rub in some places, so I wrapped the line and tightened on those hose clamps on the points that would contact metal. Not FI yet, but this is what I used.

Only rubbing cause an AC line to leak, only place i can think of is under the blower. I have to go ahead lift the car up, but i'm lazy.
What's with the Koreans with Vortechs (Previously and Currently) in this thread.
Sorry to hear about the AC. I think I would die without it. My Thermostat was reading 109* yesterday.
Check just to the right of the blower. There is a hard aluminum line there that might have been rubbed. It's a tight fit.

Update, it is leaking from under the blower. Shop telling me I have to take out blower to replace line. He isnot sure if it is upper or lower ones..lol another 300 bucks.
Are they charging you to take the blower out? It's pretty easy to remove. You can remove the blower through the wheel well w/o dismounting the plate.. I've done it a couple times.
I think his problem is a rubbing issue. Need the green dye to see exactly where its coming from.
