def. in for pics of the problem area...i basically got the wrap to prevent my oil feed line from rubbine on anything, it is touching my inner fender wall i know that, and i will prolly wrap it there just to be safe it doesn't break somehow from rubbing..i should be good to go but better safe than sorry, i can see myself now on a wrapping frenzy

Keep it mine that we hit 80~100 degree most of days.

I couldn't take a pic when blower was out, but these pictures might can get you an idea. I'm still at the shop, fixing evo valve cover with my friend but I will post it up by tonight.

This is where it was leaking...I took it to welding shop and fixed the problem, i didn't want to pay more for new one, and fail in future.

This is heat shield that i used. Picked up from autozone, they had only one left..Lucky? It was 22 dollars? some around there.

Here is couple pic

Tape was left little, so i put some on pipe.

Hopefully it last long...

so i hope you dont think that is heat damage. Personally i would taken some fuel line hose and split it and used that to prevent rubbing.

Heat wrap was quite an expensive alternative. Either way, glad its fixed. Getting too hot for no AC!

Good to hear you fixed it. Did you notice any smoke coming from under the hood before the ac went out? just wondering since it was leaking freon...

I know now that, it wasn't just a heat and it wasn't just a rubbing.
