350hp?? I wouldn't buy a Greddy TT for that little amount of power and not wanting any more. That's just me.

I have been permabanned from 4chan multiple times.. trust me there is nothing anyone could say or show to me that would even make me flinch.

Is the powerlab single full bolt on? I found the turbonetics single for 4.7k, seems like a pretty good deal for what I am looking for.

Read up on turbonetics kits and you will see why the powerlab is the better choice.

I have and all I can find is high oil temps which I plan on monitoring very closely. I am not looking for peak numbers, just a reliable little boost that isn't going to kill my otherwise stock motor. Turbonetics also seems to have great customer service.. I emailed them and had a response in less than 10 minutes.

Here's what I have found out.....keep in mind I DO NOT have FI as of now. From what I've read, PL is one of the more "complete" kits out there, it even comes with the UTEC so you don't have to buy it separately. PL has a lot of potential, meaning you can probably push 400whp (from what I've read) on a stock motor, and if you build your motor you can get up to about 600whp with the same kit. TN maxes out its hp potential at about 400whp, (again, from what I have read). There were other things I don't remember right now.

Read a thread called "FI for Noobs".....or something like that, it explains a lot of turbo kits pretty well.

The Turbonetics kit also has problems with high air intake temps, overboosting, and insufficient engine management (reflash of stock ECU that is nowhere near the same league as an UpRev/Osiris reflash).

In contrast, the PowerLab kit doesn't have these issues. As already stated, the PowerLab kit includes a UTEC and Deatchwerks 600cc injectors. Or you can get the tuner kit, which doesn't include these items, so that you can use a stand alone engine management and injectors of your choice.

To answer the question posed earlier as to why twin turbo kits have been more popular than single turbo kits... IMO:

1) Prior to the PowerLab kit, the only single turbo kits available were Turbonetics and APS. Both had their issues/problems and neither performed as well or had the power capabilities of the twin turbo kits available on the market.

2) Many in the VQ community prescribe to the myth that twin turbo kits are better suited to the V6 engine and that single turbo kits are better suited to inline engines.

3) Many believe the stereotype that single turbo kits are laggy, which isn't true if you have a single turbo kit with efficient piping and a properly sized quality turbo selected for quick spool/response (which the PowerLab GT35R kit has).

I'm confident that the PowerLab kit will increase the popularity of the single turbo option and I'm optimistic that it will change more than a few minds in the VQ community as more PowerLab kits get installed throughout the land.
