non rev with a 2.87, 93 octane, 13-16* timing

i think 11.6ish would be very optimistic/impossible for me anyhow. My best is 8.47 in the 1/8th at 89.1mph. If i could chop a 1.79 60's thats a 0.4 seconds right there and prolly 3-4 mph in the 1/8th. OldmanZ is pulling 7.66s @ 93.1 in the 1/8th with a ET of 11.85 @116.7.

I have a long way to go to get that deep in the 7s.

14-15 psi, but thats irrelevant as its just a measure of my backpressure. I was making 16 psi with 17psi spikes on my old exhaust at 75 less hp.

I figure any of those guys making 400 hp on the 3.12 pulleys, could easily surpass my #'s at much less boost.

looks awesome. Good job! Glad to see the Si-trim's really showing their stuff now.

it's even neater that people now understand what cars are capable of hitting 11's even if it's a vortech

It's Relevant to the LOAD on the Motor (stock block)

Are you reading that with a gauge or with Software?

+1

it's pretty much only irrelevant when comparing vortech psi numbers to turbo psi numbers, but the engine is still seeing that amount of pressure/stress

mechanical gauge as well with the gauge on the dyno and also my map sensor. all 3 correlate.

Sharif said it was ok, but that was without back calculating the torque. 400 foot pounds on a DD is alot. Thats 440's on a dynojet.

Maybe he's really trying to push that longblock i keep talking to him about

yeah, be careful.

Even 400tq an average dynojet has catastrophically blown up quite a few vortech stock engines.

awww man . A roll on race is way different, esp for a Vortech. Besides, it's only $150. I'll bet you could show us a thing or two. Anyway, it's about being able to let loose and have fun in a relatively safe environment.

you prolly dont even have to. you are so close with a much bigger pulley. a 2.87 will probably put you at those #'s!

I think 370whp seems average. Anyway...i set the schedule with local tuner today, going to get a RETUNE!
I'm shopping for 2.87 pulley with new belt/cog belt ( you know any site i can get it cheap?) What belt size do you using it? no slipping issue?
