hi guys

on behalf of my friend who is about to give get 9mm gun and shot himself right on the head.

mods:

3.8Ltr GTM
cosworth heads.
JWT TT.
HKS F-CON

He is getting the following error code: p0014


can anybody suggest a solution.

I'm assuming this is a revup engine as P0014 is referring to the bank 1 exhaust cam timing control. Have a look over the wiring to ensure everything is plugged in first of all.

Possible causes (from the FSM):
Crankshaft position sensor (POS)
Camshaft position sensor (PHASE)
Exhaust valve timing control position sensor
Exhaust valve control magnet retarder
Accumulation of debris to the signal pick-up portion of the camshaft
Timing chain installation
Exhaust valve timing control pulley assembly
