Jeffie - is the rust on the turbo from the hood vents, or a pooling effect that members with stock hoods may run into. +1 on Dave's dyno - 37X ~ 400whp on DJ.
Jeffie did a huge solid for the PL community as the only real knock on this kit was the the instructions weren't as photo complete as those of the TN kit. MANY DIY installers refer to jeffie's thread for guidance on thier installs. Woot for the Mid-A!!!
Congrats on being one of the few to know when enough HP is enough...

Congrats on the update Jeff. It sounds awesome when someone like you takes matters into their own hands, installs their own kit, busts out a few swears here and there during the install but follows through.
Not only that but both the car and kit are happy one year later! It doesn't matter if the car went 2,000 miles or 20,000. The point is you put it through the paces with enough pressure to burst pipes if the kit or car weren't solid.
Kudos bro!! Guys like you, make guys like me want to learn more so I can be the guy like you doing a project like this
( if that makes sense )

As to knowing when enough power is enough..... I have a GSX-R1000, my Z can't touch it. 100% stock bike. If I have a desire to go REALLY fast, I get on the bike.
+ I'm not a highway runner, not on my bike, or in cars. I'd much rather get busted for doing 90 in a 35 then 160 in a 55.

I get A LOT of pms from people about the PL kit, it seems the ones with the most problems are trying to install the kit in 1 weekend and run into problems that I easily figured out out AFTER walking away and coming back with a fresh mind, mostly HOW THE F DOES THIS PIPE FIT HERE??????
there's like 2mm worth of space from my trans and the down pipe. it's Friggin tight!

Good to hear that the kit is still running good Jeffie. I just hit over 10k miles on mine and it still runs like the first day I installed it! I daily drive mine 60miles a day so the mileage is adding up but it's damn fun to drive.
As mentioned above Jeffie's thread FTW! Saved my butt while trying to install mine. Really awesome guy.

Other then that, I can say that I didn't see a single issue, I put a lot of attention into the piping around the downpipe and up pipes, I was able to see all the way around all the piping where it was the tightest with the trans and can say with out a doubt I have ZERO rubbing issues.
